Calm Before the Storm
While this may not be an insightful post, or a witty one, it should bring everyone up to speed on the little plagiarism issue that has been following one of my group projects around little a little black rain cloud from "Winnie-The-Pooh".
Or death...you know, like the pestilence plague or something. Yeah, she's much more like a cursed affliction upon my sanity.
And now the head of the program has become involved, things have become increasingly troublesome. You would think that as the one in charge, the program chair would be able to remedy the situation? Hardly. The intellectual neophyte has done little more than hid away in the office appointed to them and nods along as situations come to light. I loathe the fact that my tuition is contributing in part to paying for their car.
And now, mere hours before the final class with the final presentation, upon which I never have to set foot in the presence of the offending student and offensive instructor ever again…

Okay, I skimmed the first paragraph and thought the plagiarism was coming FROM Winnie the Pooh and was wondering who the hell would feel the need for that one...

There's a reason that people like the program chair wind up in academia as opposed to the business world - and you're seeing it in action.
i wish i could be surprised, but i'm just not. sad that all the talk about what will happen should you plagarize is mostly just talk.

The person in question is likely to be a complete coward and left it to the absolute last minute out of sheer terror at the the thought of any confrontation.

The solution is to kill her and the program chair. Make it look like an S&M tryst between the two of them gone horribly wrong. Something like couple's auto-erotic asphyxiation. They get each other off just watching each other try to get themselves off while not breathing, they both screw up and both suffocate. It's just weird enough that the authorities will view it as an accident.
